As of May 26, 2017, Mobile Content Forum has been recognized by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry as an Accredited Personal Information Protection Organization, based on the regulations stipulated in Article 37 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

In order to create healthy communities as well as to promote the development of industries that support an advanced IT society, and to protect users by promoting the use and application of and securing the proper handling of personal information with regard to businesses that handle personal information, this organization conducts a range of operations including processing complaints with regards to the handling of personal information and the provision of information to businesses that handle personal information regarding matters that contribute to securing the proper handling of personal information.

We aim to proactively employ the latest practices in the mobile content business, especially considering the rapid advancement of technological innovation.

We are moving forward with revising our personal information protection guidelines to comply with the amended Personal Information Protection Law that was put into effect on May 30. We will begin to take applications from applicable businesses after we announce our revised personal information protection guidelines.
